In ancient times the Chinese, Hindu, and Egyptians would use this element
Records do not show who discovered mercury or when but they think it was in ancient times
Mercury can be used for to make thermometers and other scientific instruments
Mercury is also can condunct electricity and its used to make switches
Archeologists would fined ancient Egyptian tombs with mercury inside of them
In ancient times they used it to purify gold and silver
The color of mercury is silver
It comes in a liquid state of matter at room temperature
Mercury is usually found in Spain or Italy
Its found in cinnnabar, corderoite, and livingstonite
Mercury is very deadly to any living organism
Reacts bad to warmth but is good with electricity

I think this is great info on mercury, but i think it needs a closing paragraph to make it seem more personal. I like it, though, Anna :)
I like this piece. It has a lot of good information that tells me about Mercury. I think it needs a better ending, but otherwise it's ok. :)
this is a very nice piece and it helped me learn about something i didnt know about before. I think you should tell what could happen to an organism if they touch mercury. Nice job
I agree with the others. What I like about this piece is that I learned something. I didn't know the places that mercury was found before. I'm still curious about how they used it to purify gold and silver.
